Born and raised in a small rural town, Nami Suzuki is an average girl with no particular dreams or real ambition.

To pursue her childhood friend and long-time crush, Kenya, she follows him to Tokyo.

Getting closer to Kenya involves getting a job in the supply management department of a major publishing company where Kenya works.

However, the job interview didn’t turn out as expected, she ended up getting assigned to the editorial department of fashion magazines.

There, she meets with the youngest editor-in-chief, Reiko Horai, who is a cold-blooded, sharp-tongued, devil-like boss!

On top of that, the camerman, Junnosuke——a puppy-type onzoushi——came to her with a wild suggestion!

Nami is swayed by both her devil-like boss and that puppy-type onzoushi.
